Oklahoma Employer Traffic Safety Awards

Each year, Oklahoma employers are honored through our awards program.

The National Safety Council and the Our Driving Concern Oklahoma Employer Transportation Safety Program honor Oklahoma employers through a unique awards recognition program.

Traffic Safety awards are presented to Oklahoma organizations that encourage positive driver behaviors among employees on and off the job. The goal is to change driver behaviors and decrease traffic crashes and fatalities.

Who’s eligible?

Any Oklahoma organization is eligible to submit an application. Anyone may nominate a company or the company can self-nominate. Companies may be municipal, corporate, private, or not-for profit, small or large.


Your company’s application will be assessed based on your education and outreach efforts — focusing on transportation safety and driver behaviors that reduce traffic crashes on and off the job.


Honorees will be recognized at the Oklahoma Safety Council Annual Safety Conference in 2020. Recipients will be featured in print materials that help promote their successes and share their best practices for other employers to emulate.
